PSYCHOTHERAPY & COUNCELINGIndividual Psychotherapy for Adults, Children, and Adolescents
Individual psychotherapy is a personal therapeutic process of self-awareness that aims, over time, at recognizing patterns of behavior and facilitating change. It is tailored to the needs of each age group, beginning with the client’s presenting concern and exploring emotional issues, behavioral patterns, and difficulties within the safe environment of a trusting relationship built with the therapist.
Parent Counceling
Parent counseling is a supportive process in which parents are guided by a specialist to better understand their child’s needs, manage challenges, and strengthen their skills, improving both the parent–child relationship and overall family functioning.
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy and counseling is a form of psychotherapy that supports couples facing crises or communication difficulties. Its aim is to enhance understanding, resolve conflicts, and promote harmonious coexistence through open dialogue and guided support, with the goal of finding shared solutions.
Anxiety Management
Anxiety management through therapy focuses on addressing anxiety in both personal and professional aspects of an individual’s life, as well as understanding the meaning we assign to events and relationships. It helps individuals recognize their internal limits, develop self-awareness, and find more adaptive ways of coping.
Online Therapy
Online therapy or counseling is conducted through digital platforms such as Teams, Skype, Zoom, Viber, or WhatsApp, via real-time video calls. It offers flexibility, safety, and access to support from any location, while maintaining the quality and structure of in-person therapy.
Methodology
Cognitive–Behavioral Approach
Cognitive–Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a psychotherapeutic approach that focuses on the interaction between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It is based on the idea that negative thoughts and beliefs lead to maladaptive behaviors and emotional distress. The goal of CBT is to help individuals identify and challenge distorted thinking patterns, replacing them with more realistic and healthy ones. Through the application of strategies that promote change in both thinking and behavior, CBT helps address mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and phobias.
Existential–Systemic Approach
The Existential–Systemic Approach is a psychological model that integrates elements of existential psychotherapy with systemic thinking. It focuses on core existential concerns (such as the fear of death, the concept of freedom, and the search for meaning) within the context of social and family systems. This approach recognizes the dynamic interaction between the individual and their relationships, suggesting that personal existential crises may be influenced and reinforced by family or social environments. Its aim is to enhance awareness and support the search for meaning through the interpersonal dimension.
